Arcade State as you once knew them are dead! The band have kicked down the doors with their brand new single the title track taken from the their debut album LIFE IS NOT LINEAR. This work is miles clear of anything else the band have released before the boys have finally found their identity and it shines through in abundance on this track. From the first few seconds you can tell the boys are out to set a huge statement with this track and they achieve that and then more everything has been ramped up but most noticeably the guitars with the inclusion of a third guitar player it just elevates the bands signature sound and really sets this song apart from anything else the boys have done previously.

You can hear so many of the bands main influences layered throughout the song specifically during the outro that was a phenomenal way to put a stamp on this new era.

The band have really captured all of their influences while still having that unique feeling and sound that we’ve grown to love from the band. Most importantly the song has a much more mature and polished sound to any of their previous releases it is apparent that the band have landed on their feet and know exactly how they want to sound after a couple of line up changes this is how the band was destined to sound.

Having had the pleasure of hearing this along side a few other tracks from the forthcoming debut album live it is fair to say that fans of the band are about to be blown away by what’s to come in the future from the band this new era really is Arcade State at their very best.
