The third single taken from their debut album Life Is Not Linear THUNDERSTATEMENT provides us with another hard hitting punchy song to go along with the other two already released tracks from the record. This one open with a wild scream and then bursts into an wicked drum beat driving the song alongside a gorgeous ear worm of a riff that will be stuck in your head for days after one listen. From my understanding lyrically this song is a one gun salute to those who try and dictate who we are as people and how we live our lives.

One thing I am loving about this recent run of tracks is how loud and in your face each chorus has been from the tracks while still all being distinctly different with each release these boys continue to excel and show their progression as writers and musicians over the last couple of years it’s been amazing to witness as a fan of the band and the boys behind the music as well.

It has to be said that the standards set by the band are ridiculous for this album with three top tier tracks so far the anticipation is building upon the release of the album in March.

Having recently announced that the band was going to be taking an extended break before an unexpected U turn a month later it really made me sit back and appreciate exactly what this band has provided us and me personally with over the last 3 years a body of work that they should be extremely proud of (Even the old stuff Ciaran) and a fan base who are invested in this incredible journey they have and thankfully will continue to embark on.

The release of this record is going to be special and thankfully 2024 will be a year where we can all continue to make memories alongside Arcade State.
