It is not a cover of the world’s favourite Disney star turned pop star or a cover of the iconic garage track it is fourth and final single released from Life Is Not Linear the debut album from Arcade State. With only just over a month to go until the album is finally released the boys have given is what could be the most quintessential Arcade State song to date with blends of a lot of their previous releases while still heading in that direction that the other three previous tracks have taken for sure I can see this one being a fan favourite. One of the things that stands out on this track is the drums Jordan one half of the famous (infamous depending who you ask) Murray brothers always kills it on the drums but especially on this track with those killer drums fills sprinkled out through out the song really catch the ear in this one I love it.
I’ve mentioned it before and will definitely mention it again but this new direction the band are going in really has taken them to a whole new level from the production to the songwriting everything feels more polished and mature the lads have really found their feet with this upcoming record. I adore all the little references to bands they love throughout the album with the breakdown reminding me a lot of of the Black Chandelier breakdown by Biffy Clyro who I know the boys are heavily influenced by I could be wrong of course but instantly on first listen I could hear the similarities.
The consistency shown by each release from this album shows that the boys are gearing up to release a mission statement come March 28th
